Girls in tight jeans.

you know, i don't even know when it began. i'd be willing to guess it happened around the same time the production companies decided to start spelling their "X" rating with THREE Xs. OOOH, IT'S NOT JUST X-RATED, IT'S XXX-RATED!@#@!!!@ I BETTER GET THIS ONE!!

then everything is XXX rated, but it's not a rating.

and don't even get me started about Super Bowl XXX; it didn't deserve it.

but seriously, we say 'come' and i don't know how it got all fucked up, but it did. everyone spells it 'cum' and it's irritating. *shrug*

That's just another example of the evolution of words in the American-English Language. So to say Cum is not necessarily wrong per say, but just the new way of using the word in that context. I know what you're saying and understand. But you, know as well as any one of us that we as Americans have, and continue to adapt the English language. Yes it is slang, but we live in a society that is increasingly tolerant of slang terms being used in more formal environments.

But then, technically your argument is correct. Just don't loose sleep over the way people spell cum, oh sorry Come.

Im from the 80s. Class of 83.

But back then Jordash Jeans were popular. Perhaps you seen them on Brook Shields in old retro ads.

But that fad ended in 81 after disco died. then girls started dressing in hot pants like the late 50s and early 60s. those are the elastic pants that are kind of floods that go aboce their shins. I thought those were the sexiest things on earth. I would like to see that make a comeback. if you dont know what I mean go look for an old B-52 album cover and look at what the girls are wearing.

anyways by the time I graduated HS the fad was Girls wearing Hot pants or low cut skirts and guys wearing Levis 501 button flys, Polo shirts and Stan Smith Tennis Shoes or plan old Vans deck shoes or leather deck shoes.

then of course when I was in College Golf pants were in, argile sox, penny loafers and shag haircuts, Bolo ties on collarless dress shirts.
