yeah. sports DO delay my period! since a year ago, i joined field hockcey and soccer so life's pretty hectic for me. i barely have time to eat because of high school (homework), and im super active.

i went from 105 lbs to 85 lbs and it freaked my mom out when i told her i haven't had my period since february. she took me to the doctor's and the doctor told me that because of all the exercising i've been doing and the dramatic weight loss, my period basically stopped.

Many gymnasts don't have their periods because of low body weight. If you aren't consuming enough calories for your activity level your body will prioritize functions to keep you alive. For your body, the last priority is reproduction (your period) since you aren't at a weight that would allow you to carry a baby. At 11 years old, you may or may not have hit puberty and started your period, but if you are underweight you'll defiantly not get your period. Discuss your body weight and development with your mom and doctor and determine if you are healthy or if there is cause for concern. Your period will come when your body is ready for it.

yes, sports delay your period, some months you'll have a regular period, but some other months you either won't have your period at all, or it'll be heavy or just spotting

Yes, definitely, especially if your sport causes great amounts of exhortation and stress.
