Girls, did I do something wrong or judge this wrong?

Please Help.

I have had this on and off again crush on my sisters friend. She comes over to my house about 4-6 times a month, but i see her at at school. I have alway thought of this girl as out of my league. 2 nights ago, her and my sis went to see a horror film, she clung to my sister that whole time. But later we watched one, all of us in my bed and i was laying next to her. she wasnt snuggling but she got close and when she turned to look at me instead of the movie our faces were like 1 inch apart, and she just smiled and looked at me a couple times. it was the look before a first kiss. The next morning we were doing it again, when a cat got in the bed. I was petting the cat, then she started to, but when she got to my hand she would kind of stop and rest it on mine. I would grab her hand very lightly every once in a while, but she didnt seem to notice. Later while watching the same movie, she seemed pretty focused on it, and seemed to ignore me a lot. But when she had to leave, she gave my sister a hug, and as she was leaving she stopped, looked at me and said bye after nothing emergerd in front of my sister. i gave her a pat on the back even though i wanted to hug her, but didnt because of awkwardness with my sister, or if i was judging this whole this wrong.

Today i posted a piece of candy in her locker while no one was there and it is an inside joke, and i labeled it "mustang" by my nickname that i call her. I think she got the note. During the day she talked to friends and ignored me as i walked by in the halls, but at the end of the day i caught her looking in my direction (im pretty sure at me).


sometimes we play fight, like she will hit me and stuff. and other times i will be a jerk to someone and she will call me a douchebag but shell kinda smile or giggle when she says it. I thought she was untouchable, she isnt the flirty type and she also claims she isnt a great girlfriend (according to my sis).

Was she bored and wanted to not be bored? or does she like me? or am i an idiot?

Is there something i can say to hint to her that i like her? o are there any things i should say to her?

is there anything i should look for her to say?

please help me.

does she like me? other than today she hadnt shown any signs of it.
did i miss any hints?
did i do something wrong?

i cant help thinking that i blew my only chance. and i want to persue her but if i judged this situation wrong then it would cause awkwardness and her lack of wanting to talk to me probably.

i think shes just acting this way to lead you on but maybe there might be a chance.

Wow, this is difficult... There are a lot of people who are difficult to read and this girl is one of them. It could be one of two things 1) she doesn't like you like that and just wants to be friends or 2) she kinda likes you but isn't sure of how to make it work without it affecting her relationship with your sister. The key really is that she is hesitant to do anything that hints at liking you in front of others. I think the only thing that you can do is find a way to spend some alone time with her, even if it is only for a half hour or so, just to see how she behaves during a normal conversation or situation. Maybe if you open up to your sister she can help you arrange something since she would know what her friend likes best. Good luck!
