Girls and Guys can you judge this situation?

Okay so he said you can call me anytime when you need me.
The girl says your not going to pick up when its in the middle of the night because you would be to busy sleeping
He says no I wont just leave a message and it would wake me up.
A while later the girl needs to speak someone and its late like around 2 in the morning. She calls the guy he doesn't pick up. She leaves a message and he didn't call back. Can you judge someones trustworthiness/words through this. Remember that saying: More than words?
they have been dating for about a year

Well, sometimes you need to understand the guy's situation first. Not every person could be woken up easily, especially if he's not in a good condition. Maybe he's tired that time that he forgot to call her back. (That happens a lot with me)

But if that thing happened more than twice, just try to ask him for an explanation. It's better that way than you judge him without even know the problem here.

Ooor he could still be asleep. Is he a heavy sleeper, or did he not call back the next morning ? Those could be relevant.
