Girlfriend Won't Forgive My Joke?

My girlfriends birthday was a week ago and I planned a surprise party for her.

I hired 50 clowns (just agency actors dressed as clowns, they weren't real clowns) and had them hide all over the house, in wardrobers, behind sofas, under beds, under the stairs, behind curtains, etc.

I led her into a large rented house blind folded, to a bedroom, then told her to take it off in a minute and left.

I thought it would be hilarious having clowns jumping out of everywhere and very funny. After all, they have them in the circus for entertainment.

I didn't know she was scared of clowns though. i only found this out after she found her way out of the house after 20 minutes.


How can I try and make up for this. she keeps screaming in the night.

I dunno, I guess maybe you should go and say sorry to her and let her know that you didn't know that she was afraid of clowns lol
