Girlfriend home in an hour, and I need help with my cooking... please help!!!!?

I have here a gammon ham joint, 750g (which I think is about 1.6 lbs)
I want to boil it but not sure how long it needs to be boiled for.

Please help... the Mrs is home in an hour and I need to make a good dinner!!!!!!
 
Forget the boiling if you want to eat in 1 hour! Try slicing it - very thick slices - with a really sharp kitchen knife and then gently grilling. Serve with a green salad; alternatively chips; fried eggs and grilled tomatoes. Yummy!! Good luck.
