Girl alergic to sunlight

Anyone seen this old film ? It's about a mother and daughter who live in a house go out only at night and put things in a statue in the garden. I can't remember what the title is
 
Not seen it, but there was a girl at my school who was allergic to sunlight. Luckily her condition has improved and she can now go outside without her head-to-toe protective gear on.
