Has anyone seen this film, and is it worth buying? What are the two sequels like? I'm half tempted to buy the film and so would like a few opinions first. I do know that it is a werewolf horror movie about two sisters and a few of the plot details
 
I saw this movie a few years ago and while i remember very little about it, i recall enjoying it enough to watch it through to the end. I think it's a kind of 6.5/10 film: not brilliant but not bad.
 
Good fun. The sequels are worth a pop too. The non-ginger sister is now teaching acting at a university in West Wales. I'm not stalking her... I swear.
 
The first Ginger Snaps was ok.

The second one is mince, but is needed if the collection is to be complete.

The third Ginger Snaps movie "Ginger Snaps Back" is ok as well.

So I guess I rate them as 1 3 2 in the order they were made.
 
I watched the first one by accident (I was channel flicking - when it started). I was very pleasantly surprised. Granted it isn't a film I would have gone to the Cinema to watch or rented the minute it got released on DVD but it is good. Much better than the usual teen slasher/horror films and very funny in dark way.

The sequal was a bit pants but if your male and under 18( or who know over 18 :cool: ) then there might be a scene of particular interest for you. Havent watched the 3rd one which is I think is supposed to be a prequel. I would buy them as DVD's but only as previously mentioned if they were under a fiver.
 
I have seen all three of the series and as has been said they are ok.
Personally I like the third in the series best, I prefered the 19th century setting.
Its the only one I bought.
