Gimme, Gimme, Gimmie. Series 4?

Gimme Gimme Gimme was my favourite programme of my teenage years! It was very quotable. I watch it now, however, and don't find it so amusing. It's all foul language, sexual innuendo and gay jokes. Of course I found that hilarious aged 15! :p

If there was a fourth series, it should have made years ago. It would be too late now as the programme isn't current. I wouldn't want a fourth series anyway because I thought the third was rather weak.

which ones lollypop man? is that from the third series when tom has got a part in a play alongside 'tom cruise', i think that is probably the worst episode.
 
Id love a 4th series but cant believe Kathy has written it but dosnt have time to do it. Jonathan (corrie) Harvey wrote series 1-3. Why would Kathy have written series 4? She isnt a writer. She has said she doesnt like acting anymore and prefers to direct. Think the story has got twisted somewhere but fingers crossed series 4 does happen.
One of my favourite scenes is Linda coming back from the shops with the milk.

James was also in an episode of Waking the Dead playing a victim of abuse as a child, it was brilliantly acted.
 
That's the one. Perhaps its weakness is due to its being without the other regular characters...but then the Millennium episode is just Tom and Linda and that was possibly my favourite episode! So I don't really know what made "Lollipop Man" so poor. It did have Linda's fabulous line about her "vanilla surprise" though!
 
Loved Gimme Gimme Gimme, would be brilliant to see Tom and Linda ten years on. I wonder if they ever found love, what is Jez and Suze's child like? Is Beryl even still alive?

How did Tom cope when CrossroaRAB got cancelled? Did Sir Simon Shephard ever realise Tom was 'the one'? Did Tom find someone else to obsess over perhaps? I imagine he's probably a backing dancer for Lady Gaga by now, or at least that's what he tells everyone.

Linda has probably aged badly, even her wig has sagged. She might even have grandchildren by now. Her sister Sugar meanwhile is living with her now, after her star turn in 'EastEnders' failed to win her any new roles.

When you think about it, they HAVE to bring it back! :D
 
I was only about 7 when it was on but I loved it then for the bright colours, and now for the actual humour (I'm 18).

Linda really is vile but is up there with Richey from Bottom and Patsy from Ab Fab as loathsome characters who make the show.
