'Gia'- Starring Angelina Jolie, a good movie?

I think Angelina gets overlooked as a pretty decent actress - it's just a shame that she gets picked (or chooses) too many silly action films.

Really great performance in this one and it's not a role that most people could carry off, especially the over-emotional side of her character.

It amuses me to think that more young that old people have seen this film purely because they know it as "that movie where Angelina gets naked a lot in".

PS that cheesy trailer really doesn't do it justice!
 
Angelina Jolie is one of my fav actress and i have very slowly tried to see most of her movies. I would love to see this. She won a golden globe so i guess it is a very good performance.
 
It has the best tits shots of her naked. That being said i don't remember much about the film i saw it way back. Not a good sign. But its nice to see her when she was soft and supple, now she just looks so frail in salt. So mostly its only worth seeing for how she got started/famous
 
Yes it's a great movie. It also has the gorgeous Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost) playing her girlfriend....she's a fantastic actress IMO
 
Well its passable. The tits only help. It never was good enough to be great, or bad enough to become cultish like Show Girls, so its just cable tv movie fare.
 
childhood briefly, career & how she got into modelling and her relationship with the blonde woman (can't remember the character name)..also her close frienRABhip with her manager/mentor, her drug use and death.
