Ghostbusters

I have been on the Vue site looking for something and i stumbled across this...
Says that a Ghostbusters is being released on 30/10/09.

does any1 know if this is the brand new hyped up movie or just some sort of re-run of the old one?

i am confused yet excited.

any help appreciated.
 
Apparently a script is in the process and Bill Murray seems to be up for it if there's a good script. People who write the US version of the Office are involved in the script.

They don't seem to be in a rush for it as well, which is good.
 
Cool, probably taking advantage of the new CGI techniques which would increase the scope of an already brilliant franchise even further.
No doubt will be followed up by 'Ghostbusters 3D' in which Slimer comes 'at you' LMAO
 
But the original ghostbusters apparently aren't in this one that much, it's more of a 'handover to more youthful ghostbusters' film. Can't say that fills me with anything other than a sense of dread ..........
 
yeah i was thinking the same, Seth Rogan is going to be one of the newbies and even though he is loved by many i am not a fan of the guy.
