Are they ever going to make it?

The reason I ask is they were both on E4 over the Easter weekend I remembered what great films they were and how much I loved them when I was a kid. I' d love to see a third installment, though I appreciate the actors are all getting on a bit now.

Oh my God, me too, my first film in the cinema! I was 5!
I went with my dad, and I remember some neighbours went too...

We had the proton packs with the foam beams, I still have the firehouse, Ecto1, some characters.
I love the Real Ghostbusters cartoon too...
Is it still showing?

Yeah that is what I heard as well so it does seem very likely that will ever see Ghostbuster 3 which which is a pity as I know loaRAB of people who would love to see it!

They should do ghostbusters 3 because i can imagine the special effects will be stunning, because of the technology they have now and they could do it in 3d.

Yeah, if you watch the Collectors Edition of GB1 on DVD, they tell you a few of the secrets, like in the ballroom, when Slimer is rotating around the chandelier, it's in fact a green peanut!

I think that GB2 used CGI as there had been Return of the Jedi before it and a lot of the technology had been made available.

I haven't see the cartoon in years. As someone said earlier
it was updated with new ghostbusters a few years ago and I think this was shown on CITV.

well i hope to god that Ben Stiller int in it if it was to be made as that would sooooo ruin it for me!! i love GB1 and 2 but to have stiller anywhere near would so put me off as i cant stand him and dont find him the least bit funny!! now Owen Wilson i do like him! and Chris Rock hes funny too!

a GB3 would be brill but as others have said that the original 4 really are getting on a bit now and looking too old to be running around after Ghosts!! Ramis has eaten 1 too many twinkies (sp) over the years!
but they are still very funny and that will never change!

Slimer? I always remember playing the Specturm game of Ghostbusters because it had that poorly digitised voice 'he slimed me'.

I think a GB3 would be good as the special effects would be much better now compared to 2 or 1.

Not sure if Bill Murrey is too old or not tho?
