It is so funny and subversive.

I first watched it several years ago at the cinema and now own it on DVD. It really got me into Scarlet Johansson, she is such a great actor. Steve Buscemi is also very funny as the hapless Seymour.

Some of the lines are so funny. It really takes the piss out of post modernism. Would have like more extras on the DVD but hey.


9/10 I have only ever given 5 films a 9

I was actually pretty bored by Ghost World.

There were a few funny moments but as a whole I didn't find it interesting. Perhaps I just like films to have 'a point'.

It was the same with Lost in Translation. Although it was critically acclaimed, I really disliked it.

Watch it again, there is alot of hidden points to it! Plus its always the best secound time around

Its a great film, I love the humor. The film has a certain sadness about it and world weary feel to it.

I watched Ghost World in the cinema back in 2001 i thought is was good gave it 8/10 on imdb. Just watched it again first time since then on Friday night and changed my vote on imdb to 10/10 it is an outstandingly clever and funny movie.

Have you seen saved, thats another great satirical comedy. A bit lighter that ghost world but still good.
