GFT Bans Romanians

^^ I second that and the one above that :)
I honestly haven't had any bad experiences with romanians(and the one guy i know from there is a really descent fella)now though,i have my own doubts thanks to this thread, like what does cleaning windshields have to do with filesharing?
Anyways,i do concur with dreamcatches viewpoint that somewhere along the way this thread did get a little too harsh for such a message board.

PS:Credit card fraud isn't localised to romanians only.

Did you put comments in forum against their rules? Or maybe you were banned for over-seeding. Some tracker sites does not allow over-seeding.

Are you sure that you didn't cheat with your ratio? I know a nordic private tracker that are actually banning a lot of users from particulary from Romania and Bulgaria because they did ratio cheating. But this nordic tracker did not ban Romania or Bulgary, they only ban user for ratio cheating. Unfortunately, most of those who are cheating are actually from Rumania and Bulgaria.

Ratio cheating in this sense, that user have an upload speed of 130 Mbit/s and the person only downloaded 1 MB and uploaded 500 TB.
You are right, but I assure you it's not my case.Maybe their Bit Torent client is bugged. I use Utorrent 182.

Bad move by GFT. [2]

afterthought: They are a small locked-down site afaik. Don't see a valid obvious reason why they have to go and ban any entire country. ScT's justification is probably that they are huge and tons of people are always coming and going, or maybe there is no good reason either. SCC is probably because they've been open sign up/ were not invite sparing and banning a country from open-sign ups is pretty understandable if it means preventing a whole lot of people from creating tons and tons of dupe accounts. What GFT's userbase? ~2000? Yeah call me crazy, this is not a necessary move or precaution.

It kind of contradicts the fact that they are careful about who they bring into the site. That they still have to ban an entire country, and even with strict rules and sparing invites they still fail at keeping out the hordes of cheating Romanians  (assuming this is the reason)

Because Romania is a leet and ex-communist country.
Russia is, too. And many others... That doesn't prove nothing. On your quote of Hrusciov I can smell hate speech.

Trackers are private property and as such they are in position to do whatever they want to. On the other side, it is way too... Crudely.

How do you people survive in BT
with BiTTorents.ro, iPlay.ro, TorrentBits.ro, ExtremeShare.org, CZTeam, Docs.ro, HD-Bits.ro, elektROnik, music-torrents, filelist.ro, TvTorrents.ro, Shadow Torrents, SceneFZ, GBVnet.ro etc...
Maybe, one day, they will ban people from .ro

I lol'ed a lot when I read these posters.

Now it all gone politically!

GFT have started an official cold torrent war against Romanians by sanctions/banning Romania. LOL

I don't wanna sound selfish or anything like that, but I am glad that the United States of America is not banned on any private tracker. I mean, as far as I know, it's not banned on any private tracker.

Even disregarding that, his other actions in his posts seemed childish and offensive at best. He may be good at hunting out "invite traders", but the manner in which he goes about just tells me hes someone I wouldn't want to be around.

Its just that we don't have any respect to traders, and Serb is usually very friendly guy if you didn't do anything wrong. And better change the subject, there is lot that you don't know abt him ;)
