Hi, Well I've just recently bought a brand new laptop on Black friday. Now It had Google chrome already installed onto it. Also this problem JUST started happening like today..Maybe I just haven't noticed it earlier. anyways when using Google Chrome, and ONLY Google Chrome..I go ahead and search something, usually using the Google search engine. Anyways once i get the results, I click on a site and sometimes...like 50% of the time is takes me to a different site than the one I wanted to go to. It says "redirecting" then takes me to some random website, and sometimes it says "Warning: this webpage has been reported, is infected, or something like that."
I HAD Norton security center but it was a 30day trial which I uninstalled mainly because it was terrible. It blocked off Google chrome, and Mozilla because it was "Infected" + It wasn't realling doing what it was suppose to do. Now I have this Webroot anti-virus which I got from Best Buy when buying the laptop.
