Getting ready for the military?

About me- I'm 17 and a junior in high school, and I'm planning to go either the Army or the Marines (as my question earlier) after graduation. But right now, Im not really in good shape. Doing about 15 pushups a minute and 20 sit ups max a minute, and about 1 mile in 9-10 minutes is where Im at. I know to improve is to keep working at it, but can anyone tell me more about physical training? Like in basic training..and other workouts in the military.
