Getting ready for Navy boot camp. Need some advice.?

Hi, I've been signed up for the Navy for a while now and my shipping date for boot camp is September 17th... So a little over 30 days away. I want to start getting in a better workout routine than what the DEP classes offer, because those have just gotten a bit too easy for me and I know that PT at boot camp will be much harder. So I'm wondering if any of you exercise fanatics or past recruits can help me out here... I know that the difficulty of PT pretty much depends on your RDC. But what should I be working on? Do any of you have any advice to what my daily routine should be? How many miles should I be running per day? How long should I make my daily workout? What should I be working on for my strength training and how long should I work on strength?... Thanks for any help you can give me.
Lol, yeah, maybe. Just make sure not to pick on the new recruits too much. Because I might be one of them. My rate is IS (Intelligence Specialist). What about you?
ABF? Wow, cudos to you. It takes guts to pick a job that puts you on the deck of a carrier.

Just the basic push ups and curl ups. The more you are able to do the better you will do on your PRT's. My advice would be to rest up now, cause your not going to be getting much sleep.

be sure to be able to do at least 150 sit ups, 100 push ups and run comfortably for 2 miles. PT in BC is fairly easy it's when you are IT'd when it hurts. You get IT id you or your division messes up or doesn't work together. It is to break you down so you can build to be as a team. BC is a since now a days.
