Hi, I've been signed up for the Navy for a while now and my shipping date for boot camp is September 17th... So a little over 30 days away. I want to start getting in a better workout routine than what the DEP classes offer, because those have just gotten a bit too easy for me and I know that PT at boot camp will be much harder. So I'm wondering if any of you exercise fanatics or past recruits can help me out here... I know that the difficulty of PT pretty much depends on your RDC. But what should I be working on? Do any of you have any advice to what my daily routine should be? How many miles should I be running per day? How long should I make my daily workout? What should I be working on for my strength training and how long should I work on strength?... Thanks for any help you can give me.
Lol, yeah, maybe. Just make sure not to pick on the new recruits too much. Because I might be one of them. My rate is IS (Intelligence Specialist). What about you?
ABF? Wow, cudos to you. It takes guts to pick a job that puts you on the deck of a carrier.
