Sounds like something has to change - either the dealer or the bike. If you're thinking of trading it for an 1198, the longer you wait the less you'll get for the 1098.

Um, the 2008 1098 the OP is referring to is 2nd generation.

Well....now ducati wrote me an email and is treating the situation as "urgent" the wiring harness has been ordered, so i should have it back sometime this week. But i will def be calling them again 3when something else goes wrong with it.

I'm sorry to report this and not sure what the proper method or place to report this but it appears MotherDucker was killed in a motorcycle accident.

I don't know Paul but saw him around and thought I'd pass this info on.
