Im trying to grow my nails out but when they get to a nice length, they seem to break off. i was told to get my nails sculptured, but i have no idea what that is. I don't want anything acrylic or gel on-top of my nails. i would like something right underneath my natural nails tip, is that possible? an would it damage my nails? an how much would that cost?

A sculpted nail does have to be done with gel or acrylic. A sticker is placed under the nail tip, and length is added with either gel or acrylic. The difference between a sculpted nail and a tipped nail is the fact that no glue is needed to sculpt a nail. I have had my gel nails for 6 months and the only damage the gel does is weaken the real nail. I would recommend a nail hardener for stronger nails if you don't want to add any product. For the best use of a nail hardener, day 1, apply one coat. Day 2 apply 2nd coat. Day 7 remove with a low acetone nail polish remover, and start again. This is the best way to build up the strength of your nails! Good luck!
