Getting my first car?

Alright guys, I have a few questions for ya's. i am 18 years old, and about to get my first truck. Currently I have my permit, but within the next week I am going for my drivers..
Anyways, Im looking at the following (used) trucks.
Chevy Silverado 2500
Chevy S-10 ZR2
Ford Ranger
Now.. Im not exactly sure on how the whole process works, since I havent discussed it with my parents much.
What all do I have to do when buying? Insurance wise, etc..

Well once you bought the thing. You shop for insurance now. Try getting free quotes and get buy the cheapest. Register your truck. Make sure you have plates, tags, etc.
