getting error while try to empty the trash,?

i am not abel to empty the trash, getting error while try to empty the trash, its a "you cannot undo this action", if i click on ok its getting sound like trash empty, after that if i opend my trash, all files and application is still in trash, i hava more than 9000 files in my trash, i tried to move all files in single folder on desktop, after that the folder moved to trash, now i am trying to empty trash, secure empty, i tried all even i tried frpm terminal.app from utilities, no use, can you answer me, how to get my trash empty, i am using Mac OS X version 10.5.8 in my MacBookPro.
