Getting email with 2 year old TX

I was on the road without my laptop (repairs) and thought I would use my TX.

I went to a Panera and later to a hotel and each time I attempted to log in I got a message that my device didn't support the browser and I needed to upgrade to Mozilla 1.5, Explorer6.0.

How do I do this and is there a patch at the Palm site?

Do I need a memory card?

The hotspots thought you were using an older PC browser. No updates available for Blazer to cure that, unfortunately.

Is there no way to spoof a user agent string with Blazer?

Not that I know of. Picsel Browser on some Clies lets you choose from a few browser names, but Blazer (and WebPro/nWeb) doesn't.
