Getting charged by using Facebook application?

I'm a t-mobile user with the blackberry minutes and mail plan. The plan includes unlimited text messages. I also have the Facebook application installed on my curve and I use the mobile upload to upload pictures to Facebook. I'm just wondering it is true that for every picture I upload, it count as a MMS, which I will get charged for 15 cents per picture? or it's simply data which has already included in my plan.

Thanks in advance.

It's data so you should be good. But it's always best to try it and then check your online account to see if it reflects.

The Facebook application just uses data. I have been using it since it was released. I have never been charged for anything other than my normal monthly recurring chargers. People surely start some crazy myths, thats for sure. Most applications (especially 3rd party if not all of them) use data only and dont incur MMS, SMS, or any other charges!

Uploading everything on facebook and using the instant messaging (sending messages) it all is counted as data usage. Since you have unlimited data plan you will not be charged extra. You are using the data and the data is free in your plan.

I know this is an old thread, but I have a case of a user who has been roaming, and has run up charges in excess of 12K USD. We are looking into the issue with T-Mobile, but the detailed billing shows hundreds of requests in a single day - each for 1MB to 2MB. Anybody run into this sort of strange activity? T-Mobile bills state Internet Access, so it's not going through the BES.
