Getting all four wisdom teeth pulled out bad?

It's not fun, but it's not bad. Get it over with while you are young. Do it over the summer. Getting them out one at a time is slow torture. Each time there's anticipation, the extraction, the healing and the extra expense (if you want to be put out each time). Just do it, get it over with. Remember, you only "hear" the bad stories. If someone had an easy time (like me), we never listen to those.

they give you alot of good pain meds after the process, and if i remember correctly you only need to miss a few days, by the way the procedure itself is miserable and its a good thing they give you the pain medication ;)

I had all 4 removed 2 weeks ago, although I graduated in 2009 so I wasn't in school, I think if I was I would probably go back that thursday (got mine removed on a tuesday). I got all 4 of mine out, I just couldn't really talk cuz I couldn't open my jaw very wide, but pain wise I was good if I took ibuprofen, I only had to take my vicodin for the first 24hours. After that all was well. Some people heal differently, just follow ALL the rules and do not do anything they say you shouldn't do. Do salt water from the 2nd day til your stitches come out (if not dissolvable) twice EVERYDAY don't forget that part. But really it's not so bad. I had some impacted and some blocked by bones. If yours are all impacted you might miss a little more.. the impacted ones kind of hurt worse.

i only had one removed because i was growing in sideways and crowding my teeth, i thought it would be like any normal extraction i have had but it wasn't i had to take 2 extra days off work because the meds made me so loopy and the pain without them was unbearable, you heal quickly though but you have chipmunk cheeks for a while lol. they asked if i wanted to come back to get the other 3 pulled and i declined. good luck though, i would plan on missing one day for the surgery and one or two days after that, try for a thursday appointment so you can take fri and thurs off with a weekend. hope this helps!
