Getting a new Verizon phone...

My LG VX6000 is dying fast, and my new every two is coming up tomorrow. I'm having a huge problem trying to decide what phone I want. I absolutely despise Verizon's new user interface, so much that I wish I had waited to get my dad a phone to switch our Family Plan to Cingular or T-Mobile or Sprint. But it's too late now.

I was pretty sure I was getting a Razr until I realized it has Verizon's UI (I didn't even know VZW was doing that before I started looking for phones). So I'm thinking maybe the Moto e815, but I don't know if I want a phone that's even bigger than my current, two-year-old phone. I could flash the Alltel UI onto the Razr, but I'd rather not compromise any functionality.

Does anyone know if any new phones are coming to Verizon that I should wait for? I want something that's somewhat small. And the idea of a VZW Blade really appeals to me. But there's still the VZW UI issue. And I noticed that the e815 on the Verizon site shows their own UI... did they just doctor the photo or are they putting their menus on the e815 now?

If anyone has any ideas, let me know. And I'd love to hear before tomorrow so I could still make my trip to the Verizon store.

I got my moto E815 a few days ago and it doesn't have the verizon UI . I personally love this phone. Sure its big but the features it has make up for it in my opinion. I had a problem with one so I traded it for the lg vx8100. the 8100 looks nicer on the outside but the verizon UI ruins it for me, and reception on it does not compare the the e815.
 
I actually initially went for the e815 but I just traded up to the Razr today. Both are excellent phones, but my biggest problems were that the e815 vibrate wouldn't shake a mosquito, and that it was a little too big. So far, I really like the Razr and I think I can deal with the Vzw UI for now, until the hackers here can enable everything with the Alltel flash.
 
I also just got the RAZR from Verizon. I think it's just great, the vibrate is strong and the speakerphone sounds great too. It's hard to believe all this comes out of something so thin. Truth be told at first I couldn't care less about Verizons UI, (I couldn't understand what all the fuss is about, it's not like I stare at my phone all day) but after playing with a RAZR at a Cingular store I can see where the original Motorola UI is much nicer. Nothing that would make me switch from the great Verizon coverage, I mean whats more important the way the software looks or getting your call connected.
 
According to my sales rep all future non-pda phones will have the Verizon UI. The e815 was supposed to be the last one with a manufacturer UI.
