Get your extended battery now!!!!!!!!

Exactly!

Expensive it is, If you add up all the other things you might need for the phone...

You'll end up paying the full price of $399.99

According to Battery Info, my awake time on battery is now 22 minutes and 30 seconds with 28% power remaining. I've been on and off WiFi, GPS off, WiFi currently switched off, and Google Apps syncing in the background. Have been surfing the web mostly, and rebooted 5 to 6 times in the last 2 hours trying to see what it takes to get my Own Number set up correctly.

Anyone notice the battery connectors are in the wrong position on the extended battery? If this is the case, don't buy it, because it won't work in your phone.

people should be cautious with buying an extended battery, when i got an extended life battery for my at&t tilt it showed no increase in battery life because the battery guage wouldnt recalibrate for the bigger battery so you would never get an accurate reading and the phone would still shut off early i dont know if it was an windows mobile issue or an htc issue but it sucked

Hello everyone! First post here!

Does anyone know if the battery from my DASH will work on my G1? It would be awesome to have them both charged and ready to go!

Also, and I am sure that I will find this information somewhere else in the forum...any tips on how to save some power on the phone!?

Thanks in advance!

Rod

Boy this sounds just like the SK battery chatter. People complained about the battery and in the end they where all told the same. Use your SK more efficiently. Turn off things you do not need. OTA does not fix a battery issue unless of course its to shut off things that will not turn off on its own.

Battery Recalls? Hahahaha, think again because that's never going to happen.

I'm nobody offical, but just saying it like it is folks.

While the price is a bit steep, I would pay that for a extended
life battery provided it's reliable and the performance is near as advertised.
I would prefer an HTC one. I use the phone a lot and would buy a ELB, regardless of how much an update improves the talk time. Ideally, the battery would me last me 2 days on a charge.

yea im not paying 4 another battery because i already got one for free i exchanged my g1 the 2nd week i had it 4 a new one and when i gave her my g1 i kept the batt since i knew how horrible it was i thought she was going to check but they were so busy with pple trying 2 buy the g1 she didnt so i just keep an extra fully charged batt with me every day and i dont feel like thats stealing bucause 4 the money i paid it should have shiped wit a decent batt

From what i see in the pic the battery contacts arent in the same place as the G1 battery contacts which is at the top of the battery. Only phones that i know that will take that kind of battery is the 8125,8525 and the wing.

Ya I definitely agree I mean honestly, you guys can't be leaving GPS / Wi-Fi and 100 apps on in the background. Just use your phone efficiently, I'm able to text all day through highschool and be on the internet browser, and play games for the whole day and still have battery left after football practice.
Just use your phones better and buy a car charger, that's what i've done and having the car charger will save you. Just be smart guys ;)

That's fantastic for you but I think you might be on the wrong forum. We're talking about the G1 here.

I leave off 3G, GPS, and all the extra slack that isn't needed. I've recovered tons of battery life saving tips from across the internet and STILL my battery life is about an hour or two when I'm playing with my phone. Consistent usage, mind you. My battery was fully charged last night and I figured if I didn't use it one bit, it wouldn't die. Seriously misinformed. I woke up and it was completely dead.

I haven't got the update yet which is supposedly supposed to help the battery life. Perhaps I'll report back once I get the update. I remain optimistic despite the short-comings of this phone thus far.

On-topic: The difference in milliampere's isn't enough to really make a lasting difference. I mean, sure, it'll give you maybe an extra 45 minutes but if you carry around your wall charger and invest in a car charger then you'll be fine. No need to shell out so much money for a third-party battery.

This is too much money for a battery. I wwas just about to go on my computer and order this and then I saw it was 55 dollars. For 50 bucks its better be over 2000mah

Glad there putting out some product though. Can't wait to get a more affordable and more powerfull battery
