GET moto Q SPC easiest way to read it

all you have to do is create a port with hw vertual serial port...explained here:

this will allow you to use qpst, qxdm and others with your Q...

now make sure your vitual port is set to COM2 then get kyocera spc tool and make sure you uncheck the "clear spc" box!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now read your spc...it's so easy...

i found this myself after searching forever...i saw that people way above my level could not get this one going except maybe with a full version of cdma workshop so i thought i'd share this method b/c it rocks...

note: i did not post any links b/c i'm not sure what is copywrighted and what is not so i just stay away from the linking and let you search.
 
btw- this came in handy with a Q that i need to keep on sprint b/c i am trying to find an esn solution for it...if you are just flashing to cricket, then you can obviously just flash verizon and go...

my next post will hopefully be esn solution for the Q... :2thurabs:

then i'll see if we can change this thread to spc and esn solution for the Q...
