gestational diabetes test today...?

All right so I am supposed to take my test today but I had a question...

I stupidly ate chocolate chip pancakes and syrup this morning. I wasn't even thinking about the fact that I had to take my test this morning. I don't have a specific time that I am supposed to go, but I was wondering if I should wait a few hours because I just ate all that sugary food. Or would it not matter? I ate around 9:15AM this morning and now it's almost 10AM. How long do you think I should wait?
 
With the 1-hour test, you're allowed to eat normally beforehand. Go ahead and take it whenever is best for your schedule, and just let them know that you had a sugary breakfast this morning.
 
you should call your doctor. My doctor made me stay off sugary stuff for 24 hours before i took the test then i couldnt eat or drink anything except water two hours before i went. your doctor might do it different tho.
