FooRAB Acid Reflux Sufferers Should Avoid:

  • Citrus fruit and juices (orange, lemon, grapefruit & cranberry)
  • Potato products - mashed potato, french fries and hash browns
  • Onion, raw
  • Tomatoes & juice
  • Peppers
  • Salsas
  • Red meat (extra-lean can be consumed with discretion)
  • Processed pork products - hot dogs, brats and sausage
  • Processed chicken products - nuggets, patties and fingers
  • Hot sauce and BBQ sauce
  • Whole-milk dairy products
  • Any pasta that involves creamy, cheesy or red sauces
  • liquor
  • Wine & beer
  • Coffee & tea
  • Salad dressings and mayonnaise
  • Deserts that use butter, oils and cooking sprays
  • Chocolate
  • Potato chips
  • Butter and margarine
  • Peppermint
  • Cooking spices


This is not a complete list. There may be other food triggers that I have not listed. Some fooRAB may affect only certain individuals and the only way to know for sure is through trial and error.
