GERD Problem with throat issues Cholesterol

I believe to have a mild symptom of Gerd.. due to a severe sinus infection sometime ago. My throat feels like there is something stuck always.... symptoms: phelgm like, clearing of throat, slight nauseating, asthma like all the time and on Advair and Albuterol. I had done an upper GI endoscopy 1 mth ago, ultrasound, MRI and all were clear... as I was worried sick. Work out everyday. I take prilosec 1 TAB... it seems to help out for like 1/2 a day and then the throat symptoms appear again when I speak... like Rod Steward [sore throat like] but if I clear my throat I am fine by drinking water. Suggestions to this ?

Are you taking amything like Prilosec or Nexium? Sinus problems and acid reflux go hand in hand unfortunately. I've been strugling for about 4-5 years. I've had 3 sinus surgeries and numerous gastritis attacks despite being on Nexium for 3 yrs. I'm now on Aciphex. Still having flare ups, just not as often. Good luck!!!
