GERD & Oral Sex

Can oral sex cause GERD in the long run?

I haven't been able to find an answer but I swear that is what caused my GERD and I don't know who to ask. My gastroenterologist was completely dismissive.

4 years ago when after I met my wife, she requested oral sex and from that point on, I started to experience acid reflux problems and it slowly got worse. 3 years later and under stress, it seems to have developed into severe GERD.(I find it difficult to swallow)

I've been on antibiotics 500mg clarithomicin, 1000mg amoxicillin and provacid 2 times daily. It definitely helped and made my esophagitis go away only to come back right after that. I went on a 2 week course 2 months after that and it did nothing. HP was ruled out by blood test and biopsy.

Is there any research into this?
 
I've done tons of research on GERD and I've never heard of this before.

GERD is typically from when your lower esophageal sphincter doesn't close properly, allowing acid to come up into your esophagus.

Have you had any testing to have your GERD confirmed? An EGD, Monometry, pH test, Barium swallow, etc...
