Does anyone get throat ulcers from their gerd? I have one on the left side right behind that flap. My Gi dr gave me an antibiotic b/c i had a low grade fever last week and it was really itchy and hurt but nothing else, he didn't even look in my throat. I am the one whom has seen it. Anyways, my family has convinced me, finally to seek a second opinion after nearly 6 months of this progreesively getting worse (my appt is next week although i found out they may not take my ins. b/c its a pos not ppo, *sigh*) but in the meantime i am just drinking aloe vera juice, dealing with the pain and discomfort and hoping it doesn't eat through my throat?!
Looking for others whom have had mouth/throat ulcers and any suggestions as to how to cope with this physically and psychologically.
