Wtf was this? After hearing all of this talk about how the book has some kind of crazy twist and a disturbing monster called the "space cowboy', I was very excited to read it. Well, I just finished it last night and I'm very disapointed, what a frigging slap in the face to King fans. What twist? I could not find any twist at the end of the book, it was a predictable ending. Right when she escaped in the car I felt like the book took a turn for the worst. I thought that maybe the book could maybe, idk, 'get better' when Jesse was writing to Ruth about the man she thought was the space cowboy. I must admitt that his story was very disturbing, but I still wasn't satisfied with anything. In the end there was no mystery to be solved, everything is answered and predictable. Did I miss something big? And If I didn't, can you please give me a list of some really good King books so I don't lead myself into a trap like this one again?
