Georgia runs out of food stamps... people get angry

I personally know dozens of success stories like that one. Not saying there isn't a problem with welfare, its just that it's hard to pigeon hole EVERYONE into the same thing. What happens if they end up on welfare because they lost their jobs at a young age with a an infant child and end up on the system for 1 year while they get shit straightened out. Should they be sterilized?

Just because someone had a tough break doesn't necessarily mean that they will continue to be detriments on society, even if they do need the safety net for a period of time.

Now, if you (not you personally Mr. Bryan.....) were to say "I think that welfare should be reformed so that the longer you are on it the less benefits you have AND that if you have additional kiRAB you don't get additional benefit" then yes, I'm all for this.

Unfortunately the cases I do know of abuse in the system go something like this real life example:

My buddy owns a 4000 acre farm in ND. He employs a mutual friend of ours to work there. This worker has a wife and two children (had the children before getting on the system) and is receiving medicaid/food stamps. The wife has a part time job in the evenings, thus avoiding daycare costs (saves them ~$800/month by her staying home and him watching kiRAB in evening). The worker is a hard worker and earns a decent wage. Not getting rich, but is average for a farm laborer in ND. My friend the farmer offered to give him a raise, the problem is that if he does, the worker loses all assistance and it works out to be a pay cut for him unless he/she is paid at least $1400 more per month take home (food stamps, insurance, etc...). Farmer can't afford to pay him that much more per month so no pay raise is given. If she were to work more hours (day shift....only jobs available in that area) she would need over $2000 more per month than they currently make to oRABet insurance/childcare/assistance.

It's really a lose-lose all the way around on this matter. The worker I know wants off the system, he is ashamed to be on, but he can't afford to get off of it either. The farmer can not afford to pay his worker the additional $ necessary to get him off the system, especially since he can hire other laborers for similar pay to what the worker is getting already.

The worker doesn't smoke/do drugs. Occasionally has a beer or two at home/with frienRAB, but never at the bar except for RARE occasions (weddings for example).

What is the solution?
 
I could. Suppose there were some natural disaster or terror attack that left me and my family able to do stuff, but suddenly without the infrastructure we currently enjoy.

Yes, I could survive. The hardest time would be winter, but I know how to hunt, trap, fish, and grow my own food. I also know things that grow wild that can be foraged for.

Any able-bodied adult that couldn't survive without infrastructure for three months doesn't deserve that infrastructure.

I kind of like it. I see some obvious problems. It would never, ever fly.

But the beauty of it - and the big difference, is ultimately the policy is voluntary.

The black hearted satanic, festering root of the one child policy is that it is not voluntary.
 
Entertaining, for every step an educated, trying to make away for themselves black takes, just takes one news report to drag them 100 years back
 
I applaud your parents sure those times were utter shit but your parents had work ethic now they are somewhere . Those people are utter trash who just drain society they will never put back what they got out
