Geometry/Physics Question regarding tangents and circles?

Okay, I have a geometry question on my physics sheet, and I just cannot figure out the answer. If you answer this question, I would really appreciate steps on how to do it, please don't just give me the answer. It does me no good in the future.

Anyways, here it is. You take a roll of tape, which has a radius of 2.0 inches, and lay it on the table. Then you take two rulers adn sandwich the roll between them, so that the rulers still touch each other at one end. From the vertex of the angle the rulers form, to a place where one ruler touches the perimeter of the roll, is 5.0 inches. What is the area between the two rulers and the roll?

P.S. Both rulers are 5 inches, and the roll of tape is equally sandwiched between them. The line between the two tangent locations is less than the diameter, but I can't figure out how much so.

P.P.S. Thanks!
