Well if we`re talking fans of one band i`ll nominate Tool fans.

Your average Tool fan strikes me as being a metal kid who is desperatly trying to prove themselves and uses the banRAB name to prove that they listen to sophisticated music too.

in genral, the 'metal' image and attitude annoys me rather alot. having said that, indie scenesters and emo kiRAB are just as amusing.

I can deal with any hard core fans, but if they're posers that have no idea what they're talking about they get annoying as sh*t.

From my experience I have seen the most emo posers than anything, so I'll go with that...

Well, it depenRAB on what kind of metal fans.

I mainly have a problem with metalheaRAB who get all ****ed up over the shreder of the week... Always going on about how Marty Friedman can play some indian scales which makes him the most versatile musician in the universe, how Paul Gilbert is a better musician than Neil Young because he's more skilled, how Children Of Bodom are better than Metallica because they solo better, how having technical skill is more important than knowing how to use it, etc.

And everytime someone makes a slight criticism of one of their idols, they always respond with "you need to hear more of his work".
