Genio Slide or Galaxy Europa

Hiya all,

I`m currently with Tesco mobile here in the UK and i`m looking at getting a new phone after christmas, iv got it narrowed down to two phones which both have good and bad point my requirements were to have WIFI, GPS, and 3G.

The slide wins it for cause it has all these, but reviews have said its touch screen isnt great, and also it has samsungs proprietry software installed. but its ?20 cheaper.

The galaxy I also love because again it has all of these features however it also has Android installed which I REALLY like the idea of, however reading reviews people have had problems recieving texts something to do with the version of android apparently one viewer in the end swapped it for the Monte, so dont like the sound of that.

so I`m stuck any thoughts, comments????
 
I never really heard of that problem you mentioned. Galaxy Europa sounds either like the Galaxy 3 or 5, not sure which is which but its a low end Android. Its not bad but its not the most optimal choice for a cheap Android. By any chance have you considered the LG Optimus One or Huawei Ideos if they are available where you are?
