against Theists? Seems like a lot of Atheists always try to justify their arguments with political and philosophical topics, opposing Theism to a degree that calls for a major rational debate on what the necessary steps are in order to make this world 'better'....

Yet, it seems to be a common thing where "the typical Atheist" is no longer concerned with these things anymore, and its almost as if Atheists are just out to ridicule, poke fun, and disregard any sort of fair argument simply because god is not so "obvious"

thoughts?

You know what?

You're right. I've changed my mind.

Let's put religion and all it's fallacy at the top of the important scale, and move things like social advancement in medicine and education to the bottom.

I take it back...we left that line of reasoning in the Dark Ages...well, most of us.

That may be true on the internet, but in the real world atheists are not out to ridicule or poke fun (in general, of course).

"its almost as if Atheists are just out to ridicule, poke fun, and disregard any sort of fair argument simply because god is not so "obvious"."

God is imaginary.

Kid, if you and your people didn't go to such extraordinary lengths to try to convince me and my people that all that imaginary little space chappie stuff wasn't any more than primitive superstition, you and your people would probably never hear from me and my people... just saying.

George H.W. Bush: No, I don't know that Atheists should be considered as citizens, nor should they be considered as patriots. This is one nation under God.

Until those that have imaginary friends and gods start living in the real world there will always be room for amusement for theists. They have set themselves up as jokes.
