...copywright, publication, and dedication? the first few pages of a book are filled with information about publication, the author, credit, dedications and indexes. generally, how many pages is this? and do you have reference to your answer i would like to see general publication rules and guidelines as to how this is done. thank you.

The first page, known as 'front matter' comprises the publication information.
Depending on how many pages are in the book, the publishers may have anywhere from four to seven extra pages to play with. They may put the title of the book and the author's name on one pages, the dedication (if any) on another, a list of other books published by the author on another - it just depends on how many pages of text are in the book. Induces are usually found only in non-fictional books, not in fictional formats.

When ever i listen about piracy then it really hurts me.I just want to say that it should be stopped by iron hands.Just imagine how does a person feel when he sees his work's destruction. There should be some proper law and there should be some proper management of this.
