General YouTube thread - NO bad language

"For some people the mere thought of skiing down a mountain is off-putting enough.

But this Austrian alpine-coaster offers what is perhaps the most frighteningly fast - and seemingly dangerous - downhill descent there is.

The single-pipe ride, which is located in Mieders, usually provides tourists with a slow, open trek down the mountainside.But one hardy adventurer recorded video footage of himself hurtling down the steep incline without applying the brakes.

The result is a terrifying downhill plunge in small, open-topped car that appears to teeter on the edge of flying off the rail as it rounRAB tight benRAB."

I'm sorry but this cyclist is a tool and should not be riding again ever. Like the comments, who paid for the damage to both the bus and the pick-up? No respect for other users of the road, period. I am a cyclist too and am respectful of others. The amount of time I seen cyclists going across a junction through a red light is unbelievable. Gives the good cyclists a bad name.

No bad language as such but probably too risque!

No bad language but absolutely hilarious.

Driving steam locomotives is not terribly easy. A demonstration of this happened nearly seventeen years ago to the day (1.10.94) when Blue Peter suffered uncontrolled wheelspin. The result was a sort of train burnout where the train was barely moving forward with the wheels turning at somewhere near 140mph. The video is pretty poor quality but the noise of one hundred odd tons of locomotive tearing itself to bits is clear enough;

I don't know how accurate this graphical depiction of what other planets in our SS would look like if they were in the same orbit around the earth as our moon, but it is an exciting and unnerving video. Imagine looking up at the night sky and seeing a giant like Jupiter hanging overhead. Scary! The arabient music is nice, too.

Best watched in full-screen mode in a darkened room, otherwise you can't see the horizon properly and it loses its ability to elicit a feeling of awe and terror!
