Hi All,
I am wondering if those in the know could perhaps give me some recommendations as to which phone to get. I am starting a consulting job in January and will need a smartphone. I currently live in NYC and have Verizon service. I don't anticipate doing much traveling outside of the U.S in the first couple of years of work. I'd also like to stay with Verizon if possible as my contract extends into the end of 2007.
So my questions are as follows:
Should I get a wifi capable phone? What are the benefits of a wifi phone?
If I get a device that's not windows based, will I still be able to carry and or modify word docs on it?
Are there any phones on the horizon that I should wait for, instead of getting something in the next month or so?
I realize some of these may sound silly but I am trying to learn as much as possible since I am not very tech savy but find that I will now need to be.
