General iMac questions?

1.) where is the cpu? is it in the monitor? (never owned a mac)
2.) are there different versions of it?
3.) would you reccomend it to take the place of my current pc?
4.) what is the difference between this and the mac pro?
5.) which would you reccomend?
6.) does it have a touch display?
 
1. Yes its in the monitor, that saves space.
2. No its the same model, just a few differences in hardware such as the monitor size.
3. If u r not a gamer then yes.
4. The Mac pro is designed for companies and professionals working in companies whereas the iMac is designed for home users specifically.
