General Animation TV Ratings Thread

The simple fact that SpongeBob reruns dominate ratings isn?t really the whole point of the ratings post ? that?s just a headline. It reads a whole lot better than something like ?TV Ratings: June 14 ? 20, 2010.? Since that?s just boring. :)

I think its amazing how a rerun of Family Guy on Adult Swim last Wednesday beat out a new episode of Futurama on Thursday in total viewers. And by a lot too. Just shows the staying power of the show.

This is embarassing. A half-new episode of Adventure Time beats Total Drama World Tour.

I really like Adventure Time, but I just don't like the whole "half new episode" thing.

I've noticed that during the summer, Family Guy repeats tend to rank in the top 25 more frequently than during the Fall. Which is weird, cause cable networks tend to premiere more shows during the summer in order to take advantage of the ratings doldrums on the broadcast networks.

I also find it amusing that 95% of the time, those repeats are from Adult Swim, not TBS. Even though TBS airs the episodes earlier than AS.

A shame that Phineas and Ferb couldn't defeat Nick with the ratings. It's a shame since I liked the "Summer Belongs to You" special.

.... 4th:
