Well, going radio friendly wouldn't be a bad thing in my book, you uptight indie twat...*cough*RiloKiley*cough*:yeah:
I've been listening to it a lot. It's more of the same from them, I didn't think Warning was a masterpiece either but it had some fantastic songs on it. This one has at least 5...the first three plus One pure though and Hold on...
Oh and while we're on the subject, you need to download/hear Time to pretend by MGMT, I swear to God it sounRAB like the best song Mates of state never wrote...the rest of the album is forgettable, but that song...wow...KiRAB is pretty great too...maybe you better get the album...if you haven't already...

Yesss new Mars Volta album that is going to be so sexy.
I have a feeling the new Final Fantasy album will blow... sigh, I feel like he is a flash in the pan artist that will fizzle out once people realize that he is a one trick pony and that the trick wasn't THAT great to begin with.
A yes PLEASE for the new Antony and the Johnsons though, gimme a little love for the SMZ album..
Ac/Dc and Aerosmith, the Raconteurs, Queen, Weezer and Wolfmother are also releasing some bid'ness. I am pumped for 08. I only wish the Stripes would record another one... come on striiipess..
and the new KING CRIMSON album, who woulda thought??

Funny you mention that, I just listened to MGMT on a whim the other day and really enjoyed it.
If YOU haven't already, you should check out thehypemachine blog and search for Hot Chip blog links - there are tons of free remixes available for some of the new songs. I've come across a few remixes of Shake a Fist that are much better than the original. There's also a few original album songs available, but most of them are promotional versions.

i'm not to worried about the quality of mmjs next album, but i'm really, REALLY nervous about coldplay's and tfl's next albums sucking. i just really can't put it past them to drop a shitty album
