I own both. GOW is better in all aspects. But Resistance is still a fun game. It's still very good in all aspects.

I have both and I must say they both have their greats about them. I liked GoW because of the game engine, but damn, Resistance online multiplayer has been consuming most of my time.... even away from Zelda.

I personally think gears is s better game, the only thing I voted Resistance for is Vehicles, because gears has 1

Overall, I would hope a game developed a yer after launch would be bettter then a launch title.

yeah, resistance for sure won weapons for me. they actually put some extra thought into them. not saying gears weapons are bad by anymeans, but they arent a huge variance from most games of its genre. the usual, sniper, shotgun, and machine guy with a few nice additions thrown in, but for resistance, they added another 9 guns beyond those typical 3. and all with alt fire which would usually be something ive yet to see in a game and have quite a effect on the gameplay that would help you out. again, im not bashing gears, this is just one of the categories where i saw resistance being better.

Having played both now, I can say that GoW is definitely better in terms of graphics and offline gameplay.
