Gays can't go together for school dances...?

My school will not allow gays to go together for any dances! I'm a junior and I haven't been to any dances and I'd really like to go to homecoming or prom this year but I refuse to go alone or with a guy. This is bullshit and discrimination.

Can I take this up with the school board?
