gay couple in sports bar get harassed - what would you do?

I'd probably be backing up the lady who said, "Hey, let them alone." We all know straight couples are at least as openly affectionate as these guys were, so what's their problem?

Gratifying to see that there were as many supporters as there were. People need to speak out against intolerance.
 
The question I'm asking is why were they in that type of bar to begin with? It's obviously not their type of crowd or scene, why didn't they go somewhere a little more up market that they would've enjoyed more.
 
I may or may not defend them depending on the demeanor of the guy harassing them.

For all I know, these homophobic bigots could be extremely dangerous.

Being gay I have been the one harassed and people in general stand up for my rights and ridicule the people doing the harassing.
 
If they were merely trying to enjoy themselves and someone was harrassing them, I would try to intervene.

But if they showed up at the bar with the express purpose of being harrassed in front of TV cameras so that they could show the world how "homophobic" guys in sports bars are ... well, you know.

And that's exactly what happened here.

This video is proof positive that gays are not just looking to be left alone to live their lives -- they're taking it further, and trying to force their "lifestyle" down society's collective throat.

I have absolutely nothing against homosexuals, I have a lot of friends who are homosexuals. I would say that in a bar, it would be the most appropriate place. I set the same rules for everybody, homosexuals and heterosexuals. You can do whatever you want, but not in front of my children. They're not ready to go to the bar yet. I know some won't like it but I have a problem with the gay parades in the middle of towns. Do heterosexuals have parade too? Would it be allowed to walk naked or in inappropriate clothes in front of kids? I'm not saying this to be insulting. I'm just wondering if it would be fair for homosexuals and heterosexuals to accept each other and not go to the extreme, especially in front of kids(I'm talking about both, homosexuals or heterosexuals).
 
Gay people have far too much sense and flair to go to "sports bars." Such establishments are exclusively the preserve of lager-swilling jocks in polo-shirts and their brainless bimbo girlfriends in ugg-boots. Or so I hear.

In this case, I think the problem is not so much that the couple are gay: it's that they are Dusky St-Armand and Dominic Benevento. I mean, really.
