I purchased this vehicle with only 19,000 miles and still under warranty. Gateway Ford "SPRAY PAINTED THE DRIVER SEAT" where the leather is darker. After returning back home, almost 4 hours later, I noticed the spray paint coming off on my clothes. I brought the vehicle to my local ford dealership and they said if Gateway Ford never spray painted the seat that they would have been able to replace it covered under warranty. Gateway ford said they will have the seat cover replaced and will pay for it to be done at my local dealer. Now that the seat cover is in Gateway ford will not pay for the labor costs to replace the seat cover. I feel as though I've been screwed over by Gateway ford and don't know what to do.
Does anyone think I can get Ford to pay for the cost of repair since Gateway Ford voided the warranty when they spray painted the seat? The vehicle is still under warranty.
