Gatchaman The Movie....... WOW !!!!

Now many of you may not have heard of the 70's manga cartoon Gatchaman which was released over here in the 80's as a cut down kiRAB version called Battle Of The Planets & then again in the 90's as G-Force.

But as a life long fan I am proud to say that it has been given the CGI treatment & will be released as a movie later on this year.

This is only a teaser trailer [/B]but I gotta say that it looks awesome so far :D
 
I'm looking forward to this, but is the film continuing on from the latest series of Gatchaman? Looking at the teaser it could look that way. Especially when the UK, I don't think have ever seen any further series since the 80's when it was first broadcast and wasn't one of the team killed off in a later season? :confused:
 
Actually I'm not that impressed with the look of that. I'd have hoped they would have kept a hand drawn appearance for it, or at least something visually original. As it is it looks like umpteen Pixar/Dreamworks flicks, and nothing special imho.

Maybe in time it will take it's own character a bit more.
